Important Change

The UKLA committee decided to become a regional rather than a national society from 1st April 2007. This decision was taken because, despite our best efforts, we were not able to find venues or people to run events in other areas of the country.  We decided that by concentrating our efforts to the South East and Anglia, we would be able to offer round the year events accessible to all within the region. Hence South East & Anglia Leonberger Society was born – fondly known as SEALS to its members.  In the winter months there are draught work sessions in Kent. Summer changes to water rescue training in Essex.  The weekend after August Bank Holiday sees the annual Big Active Dogs Weekend in Suffolk. We do, of course, accept membership from all areas and the excellent newsletter “LeoLink”, published three times a year, is relevant to all Leonberger enthusiasts everywhere.
