The Tsagan Water Assessments The following assessments on this page have been adopted by the UKLA These
assessments have been especially formulated with the Leonberger in mind. The Water Assessments will be referred to as TWA. There are 8 levels in all TWA 1 – TWA 8. They must be passed in chronological order.
Certificates will be issued for each level passed on all types of assessments,and the handler and dogs details will be entered into the UKLA Working Section Data Base. The name " Tsagan" refers to our own Leonberger. It
was his exuberance in the water 10 years ago that started Leos in Britain doing water rescue work |

The Fashqua Draught Assessments These draught assessments consist of a special puppy level, and 8 further levels. These Assessments will be known as (FDA) |

Leonberger Working Assessments These Working assessments will be known as (LWA). These are a
mixture of Obedience and Agility, formulated for the Leonberger. There will be 6 levels in total. The obedience and agility sections may be taken at different days and venues, owing to the dificulty in
transporting agility equipment. Certificates will be issued acordingly. |

UKLA Companion Dog Assessment The UKLA has adopted the following Companion Dog Assessments and will be known as(CDA) These are similar in structure to the KC good citizen tests , but tuned more towards our Leos. There are 3 levels, basic, Intermediate and advanced. Rosettes and not certificates will be awarded for the first 2 levels, and both for the Advanced.
